Nash Environmental Services, Inc., is an environmental consulting firm that specializes in Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, wetland classification and delineation, endangered/threatened species surveys, habitat assessments, and cultural resources surveys. NES has a professional staff with extensive experience in the chemical and biological aspects of various environments. NES will work individually, as well as team with clients.

NES is located in Linden, in the heart of northeast Texas. We own all equipment necessary to conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, access all types of habitats, and conduct species surveys. This equipment includes an all-terrain six-wheel amphibious vehicle, GPS units, graphing calculators, digital cameras, and temperature & pH probes.
Some of the companies NES has teamed with include: Murray, Thomas, and Griffin, Inc., the City of De Kalb, Texas, Veteran’s Administration, and ETTL Engineers and Consultants, Inc.
Other clients include: Walgreen Drug Co. Inc., BCD Ventures, Inc., Thomas Associates, Linden-Kildare CISD, MBR Construction, Inc., Alliance Companies, Atkinson Petroleum, Day and Zimmerman, Inc., Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, and Texas A&M University.
Mission Statement
There has been an increasing need for more assessments of the environment. Nash Environmental Services, Inc. developed from that need to educate and assist clients in determining wetlands, habitats, and identify endangered and threatened species.
In the future, Nash Environmental Services, Inc. will continue to meet the needs of all forms of businesses. Businesses that will need such assessments will include: engineers, banks, realtors, building contractors, architects, colleges, and municipalities.
As the need for environmental compliance increases, NES will be there to assist its clients.
History
Nash Environmental Services, Inc.,was founded in April 2000 by Lisa Egner. After several years of nature studies as a child, Lisa decided to study the biology of animals. Later, she attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
After graduating from college, Lisa taught environmental science to high school and junior high students. She also earned a Masters of Science Degree from Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
After eleven years of teaching, Lisa participated in and helped to teach the Texas Watch volunteer water monitoring program, and she also participated in Texas Bug Watch. These programs were in conjunction with Texas A&M University, and were started by TNRCC.
Through training in such programs as these, Nash Environmental Services, Inc., was started.
